CBSE । Open book system will be implemented in the term exam and assessment of the school. With the open book system, now the students will give the first and second term examinations of the school. Information is being given to schools by CBSE. Till now, the term exam was based on written examination.
But CBSE has changed this. As of now students are studying online from home. Along with studies, the exam will also be taken online. In such a situation, schools have been asked to take the online test from the open book system.
According to the board, since children will take the exam online. In such a situation it is not possible to keep an eye on them. But they understand online studies.
This can be known only from the open book system. The medium of examination will be based on objective type questions. Students will be given less than a minute to answer a question. Children will be allowed to watch books. This system is implemented in school exams from 5th to 12th. The academic calendar is created every year by NCERT. School education is done on this basis. This time due to Corona, the academic calendar has been created by NCERT for the first six weeks and now for three months. It has been changed in the online exam system.
This is open book system:
There is an option to open and write a book during the examination. Questions made under this system are all research based. Students studying in depth and self-study are able to answer those questions easily. All the questions asked under this are completely different. Open book system was implemented by CBSE in 2013 from 9th to 12th. But it was withdrawn when opposed. Because the result had decreased on this basis. The students were not able to accept the Open Book System.
Rajiv Ranjan (City Coordinator CBSE) said, NCERT's educational calendar has been made keeping in mind the online education of children. Assessment was till now based on a written examination at the school level. But this time the change has been made.
