Boltahaibihar: Once again, the managing directors of π World School and π Classes remain in the discussion.
Yes, Kartica Singh was seen promoting his students, teachers and parents this time. He congratulated the students for getting good marks in the matriculation and intermediate exams, and he spoke many things while encouraging the students who got less marks in the exam.
Director's Message:
Dear Parents! Congratulations to all the shining stars who performed outstandingly well in their Class X & XII Board Exam. The credit for this stupendous success goes to teachers, parents and of course to the relentless efforts of the students. But this message is for proud parents. If your child got top marks, that’s great! But if he or she doesn’t, please don’t take away their self-confidence and dignity from them. Tell them it’s OK, these were just exam! They are cut out for much bigger things in life. Tell them, no matter what they score, you love them and will not judge them. Marin Luther King Jr once said, “Intelligence and character is the goal of true education”. All through school and college, we tend to pressurize the students that marks matter, the score they get has the potential to make or break their future. But the reality is that the perfect percentage doesn’t exist because there is always someone who’ll score better in one subject of the other. And this, unfortunately, puts a lot of pressure on the students. Yes getting a good score and graduating from a good college may give your kid a comfortable life, but it is not the only medium. Students who are average in studies could be so because they can’t study through conventional methods or cope up with pressure. Yet, they can do well in life if they have any other skills, which they can work on. Please, do remember, amongst the students who sat for the exams, there is an artist who doesn’t need to understand Math. There is an entrepreneur who doesn’t care about History or English Literature.
There is a musician whose Chemistry marks won’t matter. There is an athlete whose physical fitness is more important than physics. When you think on these grounds, you’ll definitely watch your child conquer the world. One exam or low marks won’t take away their dreams and talent. And please do not think that doctors and engineers are the only happy people in the world. Lastly I would like to recommend the parents that we should keep an eye on the activities that our children perform and then mutually decide about their future, rather than forcing them to follow the rat-race of cut throat competition of marks. Let’s act as a friend to our ward!
