Boltahaibihar: The state government has now taken a big initiative for Corona Warriors. The government has decided that in case of death of Corona during the duty of government officials or personnel in the state, the entire salary will be paid to the dependent as special family pension till their retirement age.
Here, the Bihar Secondary Teachers Association has welcomed the government's decision. At the same time, the union has also demanded to provide such facilities to those teachers and contract workers.
Union President Kedarnath Pandey and former MP and General Secretary Shatrughan Prasad Singh have issued a joint statement saying that this government's decision is happy to know that if a doctor or a person contributing to the corona epidemic gets accidental death, then His dependent will be given full salary till his service time and his dependent will be given job on compassionate basis.
Both have said that in this decision of the government, there is no mention of teachers and contractual medical personnel who are working day and night in health centers and in hospitals and quarantine centers. Even today, teachers are helping corona workers by putting their lives in quarantine centers, but no facility is being provided by the government for them.
Kedar Pandey and Shatrughan Prasad Singh have said that we demand from the government that arrangements should be made to provide all the above facilities to the teachers and contract workers doing quarantine centers or other types of duty in the corona epidemic.
Explain that due to the increasing infection of corona in the state and increasing number of patients, government schools have also been made quarantine centers along with hospitals in the state. Where corona suspected patients are being quarantined. The teachers of the said school are responsible for the care of the patients in these quarantine centers.
